New update 1.9 now at the app store

Hopefully this may solve our visiting problems

Someone on the Facebook page complained that in the new update, you can't buy pointers with coins anymore? They cost diamonds? Can someone confirm if this is is true?

Yep that looks true, I rarely use them anyway.

But I can now visit friends not only from my friends list but also my wall too which I haven't been able to do for ages.

Not noticed anything else different yet, but not really looked.

Now just waiting for my friends to update

I have an iPad 1 and was able to visit one friend at lvl 45 and one at lvl 119. Easter cakes work (and it's on my gift list--hooray!)

I was hoping that the oil can drop rate would improve since I have the dreaded Strange Recording quest but after exploring 4 or 5 rooms, I didn' get a single one.

Cannot tell you how wonderful it is to be let out of "quarantine"!

I've been stuck in my manor since the last two updates. FINALLY FREE!! I've been able to visit four friends who have already updated and who are at a variety of levels!

Yes there are new collections, now need to work out which levels can gift which bits for charging them? I know so far Level 188 has give me tea. 113 has give me tea. 100 has give me the colour band. Yes you can eat cakes. All my friends that have updated can now visit people.

Ive installed the update and i can visit friends whove also done so. But they cant visit me! It says i havent updated. A couple of my friends are already in the same boat. I hope we've not swapped one set of problems for another...

Have visited the 50 friends for the day, so will upgrade now and see what's been changed on my manor, fingers crossed....

My friend closed the programme down and re-opened properly and now i can visit her as she had the same problem, she updated and i could not visit her.

Very good point for those that haven't upgaded yet, I stocked up earlier and completed the achievement for buying tools, not many things you can actually buy with coins now, just a few snatchin banishers and copper charms.

And they still havn't got the name of the Queen right.

Question before I update;
Is the deal 10 compasses for 9 diamonds still there?
If not I wil buy a few of that (it's the only tool I buy with diamonds)

Same here! I am wondering how I'm going to get corals and cannon balls in the future.

As an aside, I never buy compasses I always get them from charging The Platinum Flatware collection.
