Warning on Valentine's Item Quests

I noticed that whenever I multi-click on wall requests for the new Valentine's item, my inventory on them is decreasing.
I realize many of us are in the dbl-click habit, so wanted to let everyone know that this is happening, before you give away more than you can afford.

Update: this isn't just on double clicks, it's happening on single clicks as well. each one I send from a wall request is coming out of my inventory. You may want to just leave the gifts in your gift list until you have enough for the quest item.

thanks. It was really confusing me, since I'd have 8 or 9 marzipan hearts one minute, and then it would be back to zero a few minutes later.

Thank you, I thought I was going mad !! I'd banished loads of gypsies at lunch and wondered where the rewards were !!!!

I've noticed this, too. Does it affect the hearts only, or are other current quest items depleated as well?

I have updated to the most recent, but still don't have any quests. Was there another update today? Wondering if I have to contact help again to get the quests. Had to do this for the Full Moon Event this month. Am I the only one without the new quests?

I have 1 arrow in my inventory, it appeared in my gift list and I tested by gifting it out to 40 friends. It did not come out of my inventory.

Its different story for heart flower. I had only 1, answered 3 wall request, n its gone with the wind.

A friend gave me this idea, continue giving wall request, keep gifts in inventory. After thinking through how difficult it is to find item, I'm game.

For my friends in mm game, I will answer wall request for heart flower, please tell me what you can gift out. Thanks

It happened to a friend for Christmas quest, she raised a ticket with Gi who resolved this bug

The pieces for the heart on the right aren't taken out. I can gift coral heart and wedding clip as I haven't any of them yet. Unless I owe them

If any of you are mm friends with me, I have sent requests but am keeping all gifts in my gift box so please feel free to request items as I currently have zero - so i can keep on gifting wall requests without them coming out of my inventory. I have requested the golden hearts first as you need more of those - I'm hoping once we get 300 they still continue dropping from rooms but I'm not sure.
I will continue to request every day (haven't sent any for a while!)but it might be a good idea to agree with friends one of the items to gift to each other this way.

Golden hearts have been dropping from the kitchen and dressing room. Gypsies ( boy and man) also drop all the quest items when they feel like it.

I just posted the message on my wall to becareful when you gift a request for the Valentine Quest - it will take from your inventory.

Once you have completed one bit (marzipan hearts or collars for example) you can then go back to gifting them. Im on a mission to complete the collars quest now so that I can gift them again!

I've posted on my header about this too as I was caught out myself but can I just say even though these friend sending able parts we are talking about if u click on the right hand side where you have to complete the heart in 14 days the last part (which looks like sparkly face cream which I could surely do with) is an obscene amount to collect with no help from friends. Been searching like a loony and there is no chance anyone is able to finish this without purchasing. It's the cake all over again

I have posted on my wall about this because I was caught out early on! Vix is right, once you've completed the quest then you can gift these items without penalty but beforehand they definitely go out of your inventory! I am now happily gifting the marzipan hearts because I finished that quest, but I'm holding off on the other items until the relative quests are done. I've found that all the items drop from searching rooms and exchanging with gypsies though, currently I'm running the Olympic artefact and the drop rate for the golden hearts is really good, the flower and wedding clip doesn't drop as often though..

My cunning plan is:- First I'm going in loaded for bear.

I'm halfway through flower and marzipan so should be able to gift them tomorrow. Going nowhere near any gypsies and any clips I get through gifts (before I knew better, sorry bout that) are staying in my box so I can gift without losing them.

Golden hearts are dropping 1 per room for me, so it's up to 30, exchange with cupid, gift and repeat.

Thanks Demdike! I'm borrowing that idea! I can now send Marzipan hearts and Im about quarter of the way through collars..... I'm off to find cupid so I can do the golden ones

Marzipan was taken away, golden hearts are not in weapons, but in the little sack thingy. If they're taken away, tough, so I'd leave that quest till last.

For the Crystal Heart quest, is everyone seeing the heart icon on the "right part" of the screen? I'm not seeing this heart icon anywhere, does it appear later on? Confused

I feel really bad! I requested the quest items from all my friends before I realized they lose them from their own inventory. Trying to get the quests done ASAP to send back.
BTW, the heart can be found in the news section on the right side where the active charms appear. You click on it like the news for the other events.

How come we can finish the quest if each time a friend sent a wall request and the item that we sent to them will be taken away from our inventory? This is weird.

"My name is Anne and I'm here to assist you the best way I can. According to the game, when you send a Heart to your friend it is taken from your inventory. The feature is a part of the event design, as Hearts are special quest items.

I would like to draw your attention to the fact that Hearts are not chargers and despite the fact that hearts can be requested via the wall they are taken from the gifter's Inventory directly. This feature is aimed to encourage the communication between players, and Hearts can also serve as a form of the in-game valentines as well - not only you can help your friends to fulfill the quests faster by gifting the Hearts to them, but also express your warm feelings this way.

Does anyone remember it being like this last year? Nice of them to tell us this up front.

I completed those v's day quests except crystal heart,so I can gift you marzipan,heart flower, coral heart and golden heart.
