I noticed that if my gift counter is at 0/50 and I gift all the things on my wall that were requested by friends, my gift counter never goes up and I am actually able to send them a 2nd gift when visiting them, and if I'm really nice I'll give a collection item as well. I asked a friend and they said they did receive 3 gifts from me. I don't know if that's a flaw or what, but it's nice to get 3 mysterious gifts back from each person. Especially considering 1/4 of them are empty... Lol!

Yep, I think some people said it was a bug with the new update. What I do is gift 49 items then keep gifting from my wall. I just wish more of my friends would request from my wall.

I do the same thing. That way I can send back items on my wall immediately after they're requested and can end up gifting a lot more than 50 items (which means more mystery gifts too!) I can't tell if it's a bug or not because once you gift your allotment of 50 from your gifts page, you can no longer send anything from your wall. We'll see if it sticks around in the next update!

This feature or bug first appeared in version 1.5. It has not changed in 1.5.1, so I guess this is intended behavior.

Then again empty mystery gifts didn't change in 1.5.1 either, so who knows... They certainly are more likely to fix bugs that help players though, I'll give you that!

Re: Something I noticed....
I appreciate your post.
Yes, it is a bug, or more accurately, poor game design.
I think it is important, however, to reconsider whether posting a method of bypassing a rule of the game is a good idea.
Yes, there are many ways to bypass many of the rules of the game (I have stated that some people do bypass nearly all the rules of the game, and even hinted at how they are done). Personally, I do not think it is a good idea to post details publicly. It does take away some fun of the game when there are fewer, or no rules, that need to be adhered to. In addition, it hurts the integrity of this forum and potentially introduce difficulties that would be best for us to not have to deal with.
It is fine if you discover this trick and think you want to use it. It is also fine if you share it privately with people you think would be interested in knowing, or ask you directly.
As much anger as we might have for Game Insight, we still need to follow their rules of the game and respect their (sometimes lacking) hard-work in putting this game out there for us to play (for free, as I haven't spent a single penny).
I do not believe in censorship, but I believe in responsible posting. Perhaps the best thing to do is to remove the details on how it is done (not that it is a big secret).
Thanks for listening!
