Hi friends, after my update yesterday still no signs of helpers despite the instructions of GI Embarassed Sad
I also saw two new collections and my friends are asking me for new chargers but in my manor nothing of these items drop. How does it work with you all? Maybe you need to be at a certain level? See you soon. Enjoy the game rendeer

Thanksgiving quests are now visible. First two are to charge the two new collections.

Hmm, I have one to charge the snatching colonists collection and one to catch the golden turkey.

    My mistake, you are correct.

I'm getting a really lousy drop rate on the turkey eggs, even running a turtle of luck. Is there anything I can run with the turtle or instead of the turtle to increase my drop rate from the turkey?

I ran the turtle with the Olympic torch and I have had a lot drop so far. I'm over 10 on most and only started looking a few hours ago.

There's definitely something screwed up with item drop rates in this game. The corncob, peacock feather, and turkey egg all have a 35% drop rate, taken directly from the game's own database file. However, with a turtle running, corncobs and feathers drop EVERY SINGLE TIME, yet the eggs drop less than half the time - I can easily believe that they are dropping at exactly 35%, despite the turtle. And there are plenty of quest drops that have a 30-40% specified drop rate, yet took a dozen or more tries to get even with a turtle. I'm not really seeing any pattern as to what items are actually boosted by drop rate modifiers (and even if I did, I somehow doubt that reporting it to GI would accomplish much).

Not sure where you look for information but eggs have a drop rate of 15%. Look at the thanksgiving quest guide for accurate drop rates. The information is taken directly off of GIs quest database.

Where did you see the 15% figure? I just double-checked that I'm looking at the latest version of the quest map, and it definitely says 35% for the Turkey's egg from quest "Turkeys' friend".

I don't think it is that they are empty, it's just that you have spares above and beyond the 15 you need in any given category. Check your inventory and you should see them. I just finished last night and I have 42 "spares" before I was able to get the one last one I needed!

No I don't have the 15 yet. I open 5 eggs and get 4 items I counted and I double checked when I opened them one by one. Sometimes I didn't get a charm.
