For those who don't know -

You get 3000 experience points for charging the Heart of Africa collection. This is why many players want to trade for those items, and coconuts are always in demand.

Players should always keep this in mind as they trade with others.

Which collection # is that? I can find the Heart of Africa and the Faces of Africa, but no Eye of Africa. Since my game crashes every time I try to go to the upper end of my collections, I don't know if I'm missing it.

Sorry, I'm slow on Mondays. I meant Heart of Africa - collection 60.

Heart of Africa is just one of my many quests I've been struggling to complete. I don't even have any of the pieces collected yet. Are they all found strictly in the African Room?

Yes. I usually get most of the items from the African Room, then trade for the remaining item. The African Room is one of my most visited rooms.

I've been concentrating on the Japanese quests and have sort of been ignoring the African Room. Time to change that, I see!

I started using all my energy in the Africa room yesterday. I need to reach expert level to finish one of my quests, so I decided to bite the bullet and just get it done. I've received a collection item about 50% of the time since I started working only on that room. That is a far cry better than the drop rate I've been seeing since the update.

African room is my least favorite room, but I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and start exploring too! My eyes just can't see the little things in that room.

Just like any other room, once you know all the possible placements for the items, it's easy as pie.

The hardest one is knowing where to find the diamond, because it is so small. I'll give you the heads up:

There are 4 possible places you'll find it:
1-In the sky in the left-most opening
2-Next to the statue on the right-most ledge
3-On the floor next to the drum
4-Under the stool in the hut, to the left of the fire.

Hope that helps Smile (and admin is right, you know it just by clearing the room a bajillion times)

I never banish them either, which is why all the tesla coils, etc. are pretty much useless to me. I just have them piling up in my inventory...

Thank you, thank you!! I've thought about making a list of the "African room only" items because I need to look up what some of them look like. The few times, I've been in there, I don't recognize what the item is--I hit a spot and it disappears and I didn't even know something was there! Smile must know what something is before I can find it! Lol

Same with the Japanese garden And sakura room.

    Thanks again!!

Another tip - use your laser pointer (not in night mode), and glide your finger over items. You can then take a few seconds to take a long, hard look at them.

I use a stylus, and find that the laser pointer really helps for new rooms.

I also find that playing on silhouette mode helps a lot because it shows you the shape, not just the name. I also use compasses for pointing out items that I am unfamiliar with.

On the topic of quick experience, I wanted to add that whenever I do my daily visit of friends for my 50xp reward, I also try to banish at least one Snatchin in their manor. That gives me another 50xp. Then if they still have the Easter Bunny, I banish him too, and I believe that's 75xp. It doesn't really take any more time to do, and it can add up quick!

Indeed. I gained one level solely from banishing Snatchins a few days ago!
